As a coach and athlete for over 20 years, I have learned that moments of trauma, loss, doubt, anxiety, or pressure can drain our energy and impede our path to health. These experiences can feel like insurmountable boulders in our minds, obstructing our ability to care for ourselves.
My personal journey has not been without its struggles. Life's challenges have often affected my weight and overall well-being. The pandemic was a particularly difficult time for me. As a foster-to-adopt mom, raising my children demanded immense energy. Additionally, losing my job led to a significant loss of confidence. Each day felt like a battle to reclaim my health and confidence.
However, through these experiences, I've learned that every day is an opportunity to take a step towards saving ourselves and becoming the best version of who we are meant to be. Despite the setbacks, I have discovered that resilience and self-care are crucial to overcoming life's obstacles. I am also a 3x Ironman and have ran more marathons than I can count or remember. I know what success looks like, and now I want to be your coach and cheer for YOU!
